What Is Rage Painting?

Rage Painting is a paint-splatter activity where you create your own canvas using colorful paint. At Smash N Dash, it takes place in our blacklight painting room. You can book painting on its own or combine it with a rage room session through Rage & Paint.

A Canvas, Six Paints and Your Own Design

Each painting participant receives one canvas and six paints. Use the colors to make a pattern, mix marks or build a splattered design under the blacklights. You do not need previous painting experience. The activity is about making your own piece rather than following a formal art lesson.

Our team explains how to use the painting space and what rules apply. Follow those instructions while working with the paint and equipment. Keep in mind that this is a messy activity when deciding what to wear.

Painting Only or Paint Then Smash?

Rage Painting Only

Choose painting only when you want the blacklight canvas activity without a glass-smashing session. One canvas and six paints are included per participant. Painting is available for any age.

Rage & Paint

Combine the painting room and rage room in one visit. Paint first, then move to the smashing portion. The combined package includes one canvas and six paints per guest, 15 glass items per person and one windshield per room, with a two-person minimum.

Compare current prices, availability and package details before reserving. Guests joining the glass-smashing portion must be at least 7 years old and meet the rage room requirements.

What to Expect During Your Visit

1. Choose Your Experience

Decide whether your group wants painting only or the combined Rage & Paint package. Check the available reservation times before making plans.

2. Check In

Complete the required participation steps and listen to the staff instructions for the painting room.

3. Make Your Canvas

Work with your included canvas and paints in the blacklight room. Choose your own colors and marks while following the room rules.

4. Continue to Smashing, If Booked

Rage & Paint guests paint first, then gear up for the rage room. Painting-only guests do not need to book a smashing session.

Planning a Family, Date or Group Visit

Painting gives families, couples, friends and birthday groups an activity they can do together while each person makes a different canvas. It also offers an option for guests who want to join the outing without breaking glass.

For the rage room portion, long pants and closed-toe shoes are required. Required protective equipment must be worn as instructed. Minors receive the required coveralls, gloves and face protection for smashing. Painting being available for any age does not change the age minimum for glass smashing.

For a larger outing, review our group options or corporate event information before booking.
