Rage Room Safety Guidelines
Your safety matters at Smash N Dash Rage Room. Before participating, every guest must understand the rules, wear the required protective equipment and follow staff instructions.
Important: Smashing breakable objects involves inherent risks, including flying fragments, sharp materials and physical activity. Protective equipment and safety rules help reduce risk but cannot eliminate it.
What You Must Wear
Arrive dressed appropriately for the experience. Staff will provide required protective equipment and review how to wear it before your session begins.
Required Clothing
- Closed-toe shoes must be worn.
- Long pants are required.
- Wear clothing suitable for physical activity.
- Follow any additional clothing instructions given by staff.
Protective Equipment
- Protective face shield.
- Safety gloves.
- Protective helmet when required.
- Additional protective equipment as directed by staff.
Guests Under 18
Minors receive protective coveralls, gloves and a face shield. A parent or legal guardian must complete applicable participation requirements.
Before Entering the Room
Listen to the safety briefing, confirm that your equipment fits correctly and ask staff about anything you do not understand. Do not begin smashing until staff authorizes your session.
Follow the Smash Zone Rules
Every room has designated areas for smashing. Keep all activity within those areas and follow staff instructions throughout the session.
Use the Designated Wall
Throw approved breakable items only toward the designated smash wall. Never throw toward side walls, other guests, your feet or outside the approved area.
Stay Behind the Safety Zone
Maintain the required distance from active smashing. Do not enter another guest's active smash area or move forward until it is safe to do so.
Use Tools as Instructed
Only use approved tools in the manner demonstrated by staff. Maintain control of your tool and remain aware of the people around you.
Keep Items in Approved Areas
Use the designated barrel or approved placement area. Do not smash objects on the floor or against room surfaces unless staff specifically directs you to do so.
Special Items Have Special Rules
Windshields, televisions and other larger items require specific placement and tool instructions. Do not use a sledgehammer on a leaning windshield or television.
Never Throw Wine Bottles at the Wall
Wine bottles must be handled according to the staff briefing. Do not throw them toward the designated wall.
Staff may pause or end a session if safety instructions are not followed, equipment is removed or behavior creates a risk to participants or employees.
Safety Rules for Families
Glass-smashing experiences are available for guests ages 7 and older. Rage Painting is available for younger guests as well.
Minors must follow all applicable participation and supervision requirements. Protective equipment is provided, and staff may adjust instructions according to the activity.
All guests must wear the required clothing and protective equipment regardless of age.
How Sessions Are Managed
Safety Briefing
Guests receive instructions about protective equipment, tools, room boundaries, approved smash areas and session-specific rules.
Staff Oversight
Staff oversee sessions and may provide additional instructions, pause activity or intervene when needed.
Approved Materials
Only items approved by Smash N Dash may be used. Do not bring outside breakable items into a session without staff approval.
Room Reset
Rooms are cleared and prepared between sessions. Guests should leave broken materials and cleanup to staff unless specifically instructed otherwise.

Are rage rooms completely safe?
No activity involving breakable objects is risk-free. Smash N Dash uses protective equipment, safety briefings, designated smash areas and staff oversight to help manage the risks associated with participation.
Do I need to bring protective equipment?
Required protective equipment is provided. You must arrive wearing long pants and closed-toe shoes.
Can children participate?
Glass-smashing experiences are available for ages 7 and older. Rage Painting is available for younger guests. Minors must meet applicable supervision and participation requirements.
Can I bring my own items to smash?
Outside items require staff approval. Certain materials and objects cannot be accepted because of their construction, contents or disposal requirements. Contact us before bringing anything.
What happens if someone ignores the safety rules?
Staff may stop the activity, provide corrective instructions or end participation when necessary. All guests must follow staff directions.
